What makes up an investment property? Have you ever thought about that? Is it simply price, high rent or is there more to it?

Price seems to be a factor in so many decisions we make that sometimes we overlook the reasons behind what we want. Buying an investment property as a concept is different to buying an investment for the long term. The real reason for investing in property is to build wealth for the long term. If we don’t acknowledge that we might end up with something that doesn’t suit our real purpose.

Let me explain.

Buying an investment property is usually linked to building wealth. Naturally, that takes time to achieve. So, if building wealth takes time, it makes sense to buy something that will stand the test of time.  A casual scan of any Real Estate webpage will quickly give you prices that houses can be built for and we all know that the advertised price is not necessarily the price you pay.  What you think you get and what you actually get comes down to the inclusions.

8 Star Homes is the link between high quality building designs and property investors.  At 8 Star we use selected subcontractors to deliver a high quality product as standard.  To achieve this level of quality for our Investor clients we set a higher level of inclusions aimed specifically at the Tenant.

From the outset, 8 Star design a house that has a six star energy rating. That is very rare in the Building industry, especially for those builders catering to the Investor market.

Each 8 Star project home is designed to be rentable from the moment it is handed over to the owner. With that in mind, you won’t be surprised to learn that the Letterbox out the front of your new Investment property is part of the inclusions. The low maintenance landscaping using synthetic grass is also included along with a clothes line, fly screens, internal blinds and double glazed windows that all add to the liveability of an 8 Star Home. That’s not all though, as an Alarm system, combined with deadbolts to all external and internal Garage doors, provides peace of mind to any tenant.  

It’s evident from the moment you see an 8 Star home that it’s a level above the average offering. These are homes with built in rentability.   

We are extremely proud of the 8 Star product and back up our offering with regular updates to you during the course of the build. Our Building and Quality Manager thoroughly inspects the work being done during the construction phase of the project on a regular basis, in line with industry standards.  In fact, we will not hand over the property unless it meets our strict standards.

We want to make sure that when you arrive at your completed 8 Star Home for the final inspection you are impressed by the standard of fittings and quality of the workmanship.  We know your tenants will be.
